USAT Northeast is the regional representative of USA Triathlon, the national governing body for the sport of triathlon in the United States.  As an annual member of USA Triathlon residing in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island or Vermont, you are automatically a member of USA Triathlon Northeast Region!

The primary goal of USAT Northeast is to increase participation in the sport of triathlon.  USAT Northeast also strives to represent the interests of the Northeast region's triathletes to the national office as the sport is shaped for the 21st Century.  We also hope to serve as a conduit for talented triathletes to enter  USA Triathlon's Olympic and World Championship Development Pipeline.

USAT Northeast is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, governed by standardized by-laws approved by USA Triathlon. USAT Northeast receives a portion of its members' annual dues to USA Triathlon to provide services directly to the Northeast Region Triathlon Community.

Let’s get 1,000 athletes at Duathlon Nationals in Richmond

Hey, All –

For some reason, I decided to pick up USAT’s gauntlet and carry it a little further than National Events Director Jeff Dyrek intended.

Duathlon numbers are bared down to bones. I understand that just 200 came to the National Championship in 2008. Duathlon Commissioner Mike Plumb and I got together and decided that, yes, we needed to promote the cachet of duathlon – and we created a plan to do it. And the duathlon vets approve. Read More >>
